Description
This is a genuine UK 2nd pressing of Pink Floyd's prog classic The Dark Side of the Moon, issued in 1973, as shown by the LP's labels (the first to use the blue rimmed triangles), the A3/B2 matrices and the sleeve design, incorporating the front cover sticker.
So, a genuine collectable.
The gatefold sleeve is in Very Good to Very Good + condition – it would be excellent but for the corner and edge wear, typical of a gatefold sleeve from this era.
The vinyl looks better than it plays, and by strict Record Collector grading, can only be described as Fair to Good +, due to some surface noise, pops and tics and a few skips (mainly Side 2 track 1).
That said, a deep clean may improve it significantly, and probably half the tracks are closer to VG+.
It comes with a die-cut black polylined inner sleeve with patent number "1125555 1072844" and "Made in Great Britain" in silver at the bottom, repaired on a couple of tears on one side.
There are no posters or stickers included.
I'm starting it at 99p to see where it ends up!
