This auction is for Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon - Vintage LP Record UK 1st Pressing Labels have solid blue prism rather than just the blue outline on later pressings 1973 EMI/Harvest SHVL 804 Matrix side 1: SHVL 804 A-2 Matrix side 2: SHVL 804 B-2 Cover has a dark blue tint to color Has original black poly-lined inner sleeve with 1.5" split on one side on bottom left of inner sleeve printed "PATENT Nos. 1125555" and under that # is "1072844" on bottom right of inner sleeve printed "MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN" Cover is very worn but in Good condition with no seam splits Side 1 play-grade - G+, played thru without any skips though there is background noise that is more evident during quieter passages and between tracks. The background noise is more evident during the 1st track which is quieter, then seems to quiet down a bit until the last track which has a couple scratches that cause a pop and tick. Side 2 play-grade - VG, played thru without any skips, some background noise that is more evident during quieter passages and between tracks. Also comes with the 2 original posters in Excellent condition. "These 1st pressings were straight from the masters and nothing even gets close to them today. They play with a deep clear warm clarity and have to be heard to be believed!". Ships in a sturdy record mailer with a cardboard insert for protection I will upgrade the shipping in the U.S. to priority adult signature required at no additional cost.
