Vintage Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon MFSL 1-017 Mobile Fidelity Vinyl LP Record Album This is a vintage 12 inch vinyl LP record album of Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd. This particular recording was produced by the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab, also known as MFSL, from an original master recording. This album is numbered 1-017, was produced in 1973, and was pressed in Japan, according to the label.
This is one item of my collection (500+) of vintage vinyl LP record albums, all purchased during the 1960's - 1970's. I no longer have a turntable, so I can't play any of them to judge the sound quality in terms of clicks, pops, background noise, hiss, etc., but I can say that I always took scrupulous care of all my albums, cleaning the surface with a Discwasher prior to each playing, transferring the disc to a plastic-lined inner sleeve immediately upon purchase, and using only audiophile turntables, cartridges, and styli (needles) to minimize contact wear and damage. Often I would only play the album once to record it to cassette (yes, cassette!) tape for repeated listening. What I can do is closely inspect the record surface itself, and note any visible scratches or other damage.
Condition: No visible surface flaws on either side of record; looks pristine. Album cover has some minor scuffing on both sides of the exterior, wear along the spine, edges and corners, but nothing excessive, interior shows little to no wear.
