Dear Ebayers,
Up for auction is a sealed early FIRST PRESSING near mint condition Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab audiophile of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon released in 1979.
An early first pressing is denoted by the erect/straight NON-ITALIZED printing located on the upper yellow headline border. This is what discriminates an early first pressing from a later pressing.
I have owned this specimen for 13 years and what appealed to me when I purchased it from Mr. Perry Cox was its well preserved clear ethereal loose baggy plastic seal --which has hard to match on EBAY over the last couple of years. Most specimens I have evaluated over the years are fairly worn as pertaining to the loose outer sleeve rendering a cloudy or hazy image. If I could have upgraded this specimen I would have by now. So, rest assured it is deserving of its time spent in the Aurum Vault Indeed, and worthy of sale in my opinion for a high-end collection.
A SMALL TRAIL OF PINHOLE PERFORATIONS OUTER SHEATH ONLY and a FEW THUMB PRINTS ARE THE ONLY ISSUES KEEPING THIS GATEFOLD FROM BEING MINT CONDITION!!! PLEASE SEE ILLUSTRATED IMAGES.
BUT STILL AN ORIGINAL AND VERY BEAUTIFUL MFSL PRESSING CIRCA 1979 AND ITS FACTORY SEALED STATE. Very Nice...MFSL AUDIOPHILE.
