Description
Auctioning MFSL # 1-017 MoFi Mobile Fidelity 1979 audiophile pressing of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon from 1973. This is the first MFSL release of this album in 1979 with the non-italic Original Master Recording text on the cover. This is a rare and highly sought after remaster and pressing of this classic album. This copy is in excellent condition, Visually Graded with EX vinyl and VG cover (see grading description below). Photos will show very glossy, scratch free vinyl with the outer jacket showing some age. Includes the original MFSL rice paper sleeve and inner promotional sleeve.
The record has been wet cleaned and will be placed in a plastic outer sleeve. It will be carefully packaged in a record shipping box with the record removed from the jacket to ensure no damage to the jacket. Shipping is $4.00 flat rate USPS media mail to continental US.
GRADING
MINT - Only used for sealed LPs.
NM - Only the slightest signs of wear to LP and cover.
EX - Vinyl will have light scuffs or marks that don't hinder playback. Cover will show light wear (small seam split, minor stain, minor ring-wear, minor tape, etc.)
VG+ - Vinyl will have visible surface wear and maybe some hairline scratches, causing occasional surface noise. Cover will have noticeable wear (ring-wear, light tape, minor tears, small seam splits, etc.)
VG - Vinyl will have heavy scuffing and feel-able scratches that should cause no skips but a fair amount of surface noise. Cover will have extensive wear (extensive tape and/or seam-splits, heavy ring-wear, water damage, tears, etc.)
G+ - Vinyl will have very heavy scuffing and some deep scratches. It might play with a skip or two. Cover will show major wear.
F - Vinyl is borderline unplayable. Expect possible skips and jumps. Cover will have major defects.
