Description

Up for auction is the MFSL MoFi Mobile Fidelity 1979 audiophile pressing of Pink Floyd's 1973 classic 'Dark Side of the Moon', catalog #MFSL 1-017. This is the first MFSL release of this album in 1979 with the non-italic 'Original Master Recording' text on the cover (the later 1981 version has this text in italics). This MoFi is a very highly regarded and sought after remaster and pressing of this classic album. This copy is in excellent condition, with NM vinyl and VG+ cover (see pics of both the outer cover and inner cardboard sleeve which are in fantastic shape with no seam splits and a few very minor corner and edge dings). Includes the original MoFi rice paper record sleeve, outer poly sleeve complete with original MFSL hype stickers, MFSL catalog page and warranty return letter. 
The record has been ultrasonically cleaned and the album placed in an additional heavy duty plastic outer sleeve. Shipped $5.00 flat rate with FedEx Ground or FedEx Home Delivery to the lower 48 states, additional charges for shipping to other destinations will be calculated at end of auction. This will be packed extremely carefully with the record removed from the cardboard sleeve to ensure no seam splits in transit.
