Description
For auction is a copy of Pink Floyd 's The Dark Side of the Moon. Released by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab this is the UHQR (ultra high quality recording) version of this LP which is considered by many to be the definitive edition of this recording.
The outerbox has plenty of shelf wear. The corners of the box are split also. The inside contents are all quite clean however. It is all here...includes the Technical Specifications Manual, the UHQR Certificate of Authenticity (this copy is # 3312), original foam insert, white album divider, LP cover and poly-lined sleeve.
The glossy vinyl looks clean. There are one or two faint spindle marks on the label. Under very bright light you can see some light marks on the vinyl from sliding in and out of its sleeve. A quick play test revealed that some ticks and pops could be heard at the lead-in groove and in between tracks, but the rest of the vinyl sounds great. If you have a VPI cleaning machine it would probably take care of this. The tracks really sound very dynamic and I'm sure you will be impressed. Not a mint copy, but a good chance to pick up an amazing sounding recording for less.
