Limited Edition - Import from Japan
This is an Extremely rare, half-speed mastered, super high fidelity limited edition.
Remastered by by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab - And produced from the first-generation analog master recordings using proprietary technology.
Jacket includes the original release Gatefold LP sleeve
Plus the 2 Posters and 2 Decals from the Original Release
All In Near Mint Condition
NOTE: The LP displayed with the pics of the Posters & Decals Is Not the LP being offered - That is an original standard release LP in good condition and not the NM Limited Edition MFSL 1-017 LP.

Half-Speed LP Mastering
MFSL initially became known to the public for the Half-Speed Mastering technique.
MFSL uses the original master tape as its source. This tape was then played back at half its original speed. Simultaneously the record cutting lathe runs at 16?? revolutions per minute (half of its regular speed of 33?? RPM.)
The Half-Speed Mastering technology allows for cleaner reproduction of high frequencies and allows twice as much time to carve a groove that accurately represents the sound on the master tape. It also permits extended high frequency response, extending into the ultrasonic region.
Supervinyl
Early MFSL titles were pressed by JVC in Japan on virgin 180 gram "SuperVinyl" LP discs.
JVC originally developed this proprietary plastic compound in the early 1970s to reduce record wear on discreet 4-channel quadraphonic LP records.
Supervinyl is a harder and more durable plastic than is normally used for LP records. The pressings exhibit a very low amount of surface noise, pops, clicks or other defects.
Supervinyl remains a proprietary JVC technology, but in the late 1980s JVC stopped production of this product.

I will sell that LP separately (hopefully for far less than this one), and do so without the graphics which I am putting together with this one.When we shot the pics we were originally going to sell the graphics with the (good condition; std release LP), but I changed my mind as the Super Hi Fidelity LP did not include these (pristine) graphics.
Ergo in the combining of the Mint LP with the Mint Graphics, it creates an incredible value to any serious collector, and am hoping that this will result in a huge bidding war, because these two elements together are the "ultimate" DSOTM score.
