Welcome to my auctions for an incredible small collection of Pink Floyd records, all UK 1st pressings in close to mint condition (!).
I grade under a GU10 spotlight, beyond any marks I pay careful attention to spindle marks and also any dullness in the run-in grooves that may indicate repeated needle-drops. This kind of visual grading is the only way to go really as it’s far less subjective than any comments on audio. I’m a collector myself and grade very strictly. You can bid with confidence.All these records will need a (ideally ultrasonic) clean to bring them back to their original condition.

This listing is for perhaps the jewel in the collection, an incredibly clean and complete copy of the 1st UK issue of Dark Side of the Moon in close to unplayed condition.
Vinyl: EX+. Unbelievable condition, played several times at most. Clean labels, looks like one or two spindle marks on A side label, maybe about ten on Side B label, check the photos but it's quite hard to photograph. Deeply shiny, you have to angle the record repeatedly under artificial light to even show up the lightest of sleeve removal marks. The disc lays about 90% flat, there's a very very subtle movement there if you look closely. Playback unaffected.
Sleeve: Only VG+ in my opinion, the main culprit being ringwear on the front. Very common of course. No significant seam damage but some wear on the odd corner. Please have a good look at the photos, i've tried to capture any damage.
Posters: NM. Both unopened. Perfect condition with some age-related browning on the white sides
Stickers: VG One ding on each. As photographed.

I have a slightly later pressing of this in my own collection. The cover of it is definitely more ‘black’ than this one for sale, which has a green hue.
