Up for Sale is a GREAT copy of the Classic Pink Floyd 1973/1975 Album Dark Side of the Moon! (45yrs old!)
This Copy is the 3rd Pressing (2nd Overall United States Pressing) of this Classic Album.This Version Has Wally Traugott (Wly) etched on BOTH Side A & B of the Vinyl.On Side A it's also #'ed F-55 # 9 and Side B is #'ed F-47 #6 with Mastered By Capitol Records on BOTH sides of the Vinyl.
The Lp itself I would rate at a VERY SOLID VG+ and possibly VG++ depending on how strict a Grade you would put on a Classic Lp like this one that has been played MANY times since 1975.If you were Grading it simply on 'LOOKS' I would say it's a SOLID VG++ for a 45 year old vinyl record,it looks VERY NICE! For Online grading stickler's I will Grade it 'SOUND-WISE' at a Very Solid VG+ ONLY because it has some very light crackle that starts on both Side A & Side B. I literally JUST listened to this entire record before listing it.Side A Song 1(Speak to Me) starts of with some light crackle(no snaps or pops) and once the music gets a little louder,with more instruments coming into play the crackle is drowned out considerably.There is very light crackle throughout the next 3 songs when there are super quiet parts and some crackle on the final song of Side A Song 5(The Great Gig in the Sky) before the start of the big crescendo with the famously loud female girls screaming/singing part of the song.Side B Song 1(Money) also has some light crackle also gets drowned out by when the song gets going in a few seconds.
This Lp could greatly benefit from a Professional Vinyl Cleaning done by a Record Store or if you have a Record Cleaning System at home to help clean up the crackle.
The Cover I will also rate at a Sold VG+ maybe better,again,depending on your grading of certain vintage vinyl album covers. There is no writing of anyone's name or initials anywhere on the album and except for the usual wear on the corners from being a 45 year old cover.Also,there are no serious rips,tears or hole punches anywhere on this album cover.
Also included are the Original 2 Posters and the Original 2 PostCards.The Posters looks very nice for their age and the post cards which look like they are also big-sized stickers are in nice shape as well,even if they are slightly warped from time,but nothing some flattening for a day or several days to make them super flat again.
