Description
I am slimming down on my own personal collection. I currently have 3 of these in my collection so a slim down is in order.
This is an early press of a truly iconic album. An A3 B3 press in outstanding condition.
Let's start with the outside sleeve. Spine is really nice with no splits or tears still very clear as you can see from the pic. There is no ink on any part of the outer sleeve. It has kept its shape remarkably well over the years. There is mild wear present on front and back which is common place on these black outer sleeves but a great album to have on your shelf. Has to be graded somewhere between a VG plus and Ex minus.
In terms of the record. It is in exceptional condition and would grade somewhere between Ex and Ex plus. The vinyl runs straight and true with no warping present. The record has also retained its glossy shine. There is minimal wear to the labels. The only thing I can really see is paper scuffs on the records which have very little impact on the sound quality. The sound output is exceptional. I have compared this actual record to a solid triangle pressing and there is very little in it. No nasty pops or skips present on playback. I can't think of a better album to play on max volume, it shakes the house ???? the odd background present on quieter sections but very minimal.
