Up for bid is this beautiful ORIGINAL 1973 US 1st pressing of Pink Floyds "Dark Side of the Moon" SMAS 11163 still FACTORY SEALED.This is the 100% original 1st US pressing, not a 2nd pressing, reissue, or remastered copy. This LP has the Dark Side of the Moon sticker with the BLACK backround which only came on 1st pressings, 2nd pressings had PURPLE backround and later pressings had NO sticker, this can be verified on the Pink Floyd Archives site. This Lp has been in storage since day one and is in excellent condition and is STILL FACTORY SEALED. There is a 1 3/4" tear in the shrinkwrap at the top and the four corners have poked through and have slight wear. There is a small hole in the spine that can be seen in the pictures other than that the shrink tightly sealed and the sticker is in mint condition. There are no cut outs, saw cuts, or promo holes in the cover. There are no bends, no creases, and no ring wear in this outstanding cover. These factory sealed 1st pressings of this LP are very rare and are getting harder and harder to find especialy in this condition. So don't pass up this opportunity to own beautiful monster LP. This LP and any LP I sell will be packaged securely so that it arrives the way that it left. Believe me I know what it is like to pay alot of money for a mint LP only to have it arrive damaged.
