PINK FLOYD :
THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON
Very Rare UK 1st Press complete with Correct early issued Garrod & Lofthouse Matt Midnight Blue Cover with promo sticker attached , Original black poly-lined inner sleeve with white lower print , 1 Original Poster with white border , 2 stickers ( one of which has been stuck to the poly protective sleeve ! and the very earliest pressed vinyl with the solid blue labels !
Most music lovers will be aware of this all time classic lp which has broken so many world records in sales, charts , popularity statistics etc etc ( a personal favourite of mine ) This masterpiece was released in March 1973 but the band had played several numbers on the circuit in 1972 under the title ' Eclipse - A piece for assorted Lunatics ' A fantastic creation of Genius that deals with the burdons of everyday life that drive people to insanity !
There are many releases of this album in just about every country but this is the holy-grail original UK 1st Pressing with the quickly withdrawn solid blue triangle label variant ( which was quickly re-worked to the transparant varaint - due to the difficulty in reading the track listings )

COVER
This is an original matt midnight blue Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold cover, right-hand side opening and round promo sticker attached in the top-left corner. This cover has survived very well by most standards , it's not the most durable type of cover and most are extremely worn with storage / handling use / ring wear etc but this is clean and bright both inside and out. There are some light storage wear marks but these are very minor and there are no tears, stains or writing present , overall it's not a stunning example but a clean , presentable one that's better than the average condition offered ! (see-pics) VERY GOOD PLUS CONDITION !
VINYL
Both sides still retain a deep glossy shine with no stains or nasty scratches present, upon closer inspection under bright lighting and in direct sunlight ! several light fingernail rub lines are visable , these are not serious and certainly nothing that affects the audio quality but they are visable and probably a result of a little careless handling but overall it's a very nice looking example and way above the average condition Side 1 Visualy VERY GOOD CONDITION Side 2 VERY GOOD PLUS CONDITION. Both sides play through extremely well with sharp ,clear audio and just a hint of background noise from time to time , this is only short and due to the dramatic composition of instrumets very hard to notice, a very nice playing example of this classic Masterpiece of Music History , both sides Audibly EXCELLENT MINUS CONDITION
LABELS
Original earliest solid blue triangle ! both labels are in super clean condition with no stickers, writing , stains or wear to the centre hole ! there are some faint spindle traces but on visable on angled viewing in direct light . Overall a very clean and bright set EXCELLENT CONDITION ! INNER Original black poly-lined inner sleeve with the Patent No and Made in Great Britain lower print, again this inner is in clean shape but has some creasing and a couple of small tears to the edge of the centre hole ( see-pic ) POSTER Sadly the pyramid poster is missing but the band poster is in great shape with no tears, tape marks or pin holes ! Original white border with catalogue number in the lower corner ! ( see-pics ) STICKERS Both stickers are present but one has had the backing removed and been placed on the plastic protective cover ! the other has not been used and is in clean shape with no tears etc ! ( see-pics) PLEASE READ INFORMATION BELOW FOR GRADING,PACKING AND POSTAGE DETAILS.
