Description

      This is a beautiful copy of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon" on Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab 1-017 from 1980. The disc was manufactured in Japan.

      I play tested the vinyl on my Denon DP 62L turntable with Shure M97 X cartridge. I used Sennheiser over-the-ear headphones. I played the entire disc- both sides- and I could not hear any surface noise or other noises, not even in the quieter passages. The headphones brought me closer to the sound than speakers would have and yet I did not detect any noise! There was just silence in the lead-in grooves! This is a perfectly preserved disc!
     The cover does have wear and it can be seen in the photos. I knew the original owner of this LP and I can not understand how they had this perfect disc in a cover that shows wear!
     This LP comes with its original rice paper type inner sleeve and the cardboard "stiffener" that comes with Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab discs. The stiffener contains much information about the half-speed mastering process used in the making of MFSL discs.
     So, a Mint disc in a VG+ cover with Mint inner sleeve and "stiffener."
