Description
Pink Floyd ORIG OZ QUAD LP Dark side of the moon VG+ '73 Harvest Q4SHVLA804 Prog
Original OZ Quadraphonic LP released in 1973 on Harvest Records. Cat: Q4 SHVLA.804. Comes in gloss gatefold sleeve. Also comes with 2 posters which are in VG+ condition.
By condensing the sonic explorations of Meddle to actual songs and adding a lush, immaculate production to their trippiest instrumental sections, Pink Floyd inadvertently designed their commercial breakthrough with Dark Side of the Moon. The primary revelation of Dark Side of the Moon is what a little focus does for the band. Roger Waters wrote a series of songs about mundane, everyday details which aren't that impressive by themselves, but when given the sonic backdrop of Floyd's slow, atmospheric soundscapes and carefully placed sound effects, they achieve an emotional resonance.
Tracks : Speak to me/ Breathe/ On the run/ Time/ The great gig in the sky/ Money/ Us and them/ Any colour you like/ Brain damage/ Eclipse.
There are some light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks and very light scratches that cause some crackles in parts most noticeable in quiter sections and is in VG+ condition. Gloss gatefold cover has a few light marks and a few small light crease marks along spine and is in Excellent condition.
