Description
DESCRIPTION: Pink Floyd LP- Obscured By Clouds. Complete original UK 1st press with lowest possible matrix. 1ST UK press in textured sleeve with rounded corners, "The Gramophone" text and EMI box to labels, Harvest advertising inner and with A1/B1 matrix. This was my own copy until a very recent upgrade. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Harvest SHSP 4020 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1972 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX/VG+. Vinyl is very clean with a great sheen. Played in its entirety tonight on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds Excellent and better. Sound is vibrant, clean, clear and loud. One of the cleanest playing copies I have had. Silence between the tracks. Really stunning audio. Cover is again one of the best I have had. It is in nice, clean shape and is free from the the usual heavy wear that this textured sleeve was prone to. It is firm and square and has a little less than light edge wear (1cm moderate to centre of spine or I would confidently grade sleeve as EX), light corner wear and minimal creasing. Original Harvest inner is clean and white and has light wear only and no splits. Poly is still fully attached. Very clean labels. Check out the photos. No rips, stickers or sticker tears. Truly a top copy. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER PINK FLOYD/PROG/PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD. ALL ITEMS (OR COMBINATIONOF ITEMS) SELLING FOR OVER £20 MUST BE SENT SIGNED FOR TO COMPLY WITH PAYPAL POLICIES- ASK ME FOR FURTHER DETAILS.
