Description

An original 1st UK issue by Harvest whilst charting. Matrix A2/B2. Note the labels mention 'Gramophone' text that you will find on the early copies. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold textured cover. There's the original inner advertising Harvest titles. So 100% genuine and 100% complete. 
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition for an original PF and has only seen relatively light use. A good few very slight/superficial low-level markings. Nothing heavy or troublesome.. Lovely LOW noise floor. Plays superb. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of slight deviations on side 1. The audio delivery is just gorgeous. Plays really clean - lovely clean feed which is so so important on these PF titles. Even into those slow build drone moments. All I could detect was a couple of crackles here and there in WOTS & Bridges...but even that was minimal and in no way upfront or that noticeable. A couple of minor ticks detected in a couple of spots during Bridges. This is a seriously well preserved specimen - which is always the hardest thing to find with Floyd.
Cover (Vg+) In really nice condition and the front and back are only exhibiting lightest handling. Seems to have avoided the worst of the ageing process - certainly much better than what typically surfaces. Spine looks good apart from some wear. A one inch wear-through at the foot ahs been tape repaired internally and sharpie a touch to blend it in. This a slight cosmetic issue now. Edge wear is relatively slight. A very fine looking example indeed.
Inner (Vg+) Bag present. Aged a bit No splits or issues.
