Love collecting vinyl? Me too. I know how frustrating it can be to find what you want while navigating through the rip offs that are so prevalent on this site and elsewhere. People assign ridiculously generous grades to records and it seems to get worse all the time.
Grading records is clearly a highly subjective affair, but here's the difference between myself and many, perhaps most other record dealers, I play grade the records. I mean, how hard is that really? I can't always play every record all the way through, but for someone that has been buying and selling vinyl for decades, its not a big deal to carefully place an album on the turntable (I use a Rega P3 w/a Blue Ortofon cartridge) so that I can provide potential buyers with an idea of how their record will sound.
I can't in good conscience offer a record that could fetch anywhere between $20 & $500 for someone's hard earned pay without attempting to offer a reality based grade. I now have over thirty years of experience buying selling records of every genre. My grading codes NM, EX, VG+, and VG are fairly standard and I don't grade on a curve for older records. Its either NM, or its not.
All records are packed and shipped with all the care these little treasures deserve.

Vinyl EX Looks pretty close to NM, a few light wispy marks, some light noise in quiet passages and between tracks, Overall, a great sounding early US copy
Cover NM A bit of storage wear, but fairly remarkably well preserved.
