Original UK Harvest label stereo press LP.
This is the seventh LP by Pink Floyd issued by Harvest records in June 1972, based on their soundtrack for the French film La Vallee, by Barbet Schroeder. It was recorded in two sessions in France, while they were in the midst of touring Japan and was produced by the band members. This is the first EMI/Harvest label variant with the high end mix later replaced by Nick Wright for the A-2/B-2 matrices onwards, with the A-1 B-1 matrices and 2-AD 2-AO stampers of the first 1972 1st pressings!

  The Garrod & Lofthouse matt textured sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light corner/edge wear & some very light rubbing on the outer cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the Harvest company inner is intact, slightly discoloured & in VG+ condition.   The record is in visually EX condition, with only one or two faint sleeve removal hairlines and one or two light needle marks which do not affect play visible on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a few spindle markings.   The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with no loud hiss, pops or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise during the run in grooves, overall still a really great, loud & clear listen.   The matrix nos. are; SHSP-4040, A-1 stamper 2-AD, B-1 stamper 2-AO. This is one of the early copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1972 UK stereo issue of this album!

  All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!!   UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2kg,

Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & Russia, Finland, Sweden, etc.) and Rest of the World (USA, Japan, Australia, Korea etc.), but airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to 2kg weight restrictions.
