Description

Piper at the Gates of Dawn SCX 6157. Fifth UK pressing with black labels and silver text. Laminated front cover and non-laminated back cover. 


  • Matrix / Runout (Variant 2 - Stamped A side runout): YAX-3419-2
  • Matrix / Runout (Variant 2 - Stamped B side runout): YAX-3420-2

  • Matrix / Runout (Label A side, in brackets): YAX.3419
  • Matrix / Runout (Label B side, in brackets): YAX.3419

Gradings: I use the Record Collector's Grading System but please also refer to the visual images in the uploaded photos.  

Vinyl: VG: Record plays absolutely superbly without any noticeable background noise. There are several hairlines on both sides of the record but apart from one mark on side 1 these can only be seen under a strong light. Side 1 label has a scuff but neither label has any significant spindle marks. 

Sleeve: G-: Front cover creased at bottom left corner. Rear cover has tear on left-hand side and some pronounced ring marks. Usual corner and edge wear. Plain inner sleeve is intact but creased with a few small age spots.
