Description
The Pink Floyd - The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn
(Columbia SCX 6157 UK LP 1967)
This is an early Stereo LP pressing circa 1970-1971. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve (Garrod & Lofthouse). This has a white rear sleeve. It comes with its original company (EMI) paper inner sleeve - which is in Near EX condition.
The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has black, silver & white Columbia labels. They have "The Gramophone Co..." text & two boxed EMI logos. It has 1st press -1/ -1 matrix stampers. An early UK pressing of this essential UK Psych LP.
Sleeve: There is some mild ringwear & fading to the rear. Some very light rubbing wear to the corners. There is a 2 cm bit of wear to the top edge. VG+ condition.
Vinyl: There are some light to mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light, there are some minor pressing marks too. VG+ condition. The labels are clean & show mild spindle wear. Plays Near Excellent to Excellent. Very well indeed.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
