Pink Floyd: Piper At The Gates of Dawn (Mono) LP

Strictly limited edition 2018 Record Store Day pressing housed in a special collectors box featuring new artwork, exclusive gold labels and including a free poster. The record is housed in a plain black polylined inner sleeve which is a nice touch.

Played one or two times at most… I think I got carried away one record store day when I saw this in the shop as these were really hard to come by. I’m not actually a massive fan of early pink Floyd and haven’t played the album since the day I bought it apart from just now again to test play it.

The sleeve, box and poster are all in beautiful near mint condition, please see photos included on the listing.

The record appears to have no obvious pressing defects, warps or visible non fill that I can see so rest assured your getting a solid pressing, see my feedback for peace of mind.

I would have cleaned the record when I originally bought it in 2018, but have just cleaned it again in my professional vacuum record cleaning machine with the award winning L’Art Du Son fluid.

I’ve inspected the record again after cleaning and its nice and clean and static free and in the best possible condition for the new owner to enjoy. There are a couple of tiny surface marks when scrutinised under a very bright LED light, probably from the pressing plant, but nothing of concern to interfere with play. Test played both sides all the way through on my Project Debut Carbon Deck fitted with Ortofon 2M Blue stylus and it sounds wonderful… no annoying clicks or pops, just very light warm surface crackle occasionally on run ins and between tracks. Plays mostly silent though during tracks with no skipping, sticking or jumping… sounds fantastic if your a fan of this era Pink Floyd Music and this is a lovely overall package for the collector.
