Pink Floyd – The Piper At The Gates of Dawn (Columbia SCX 6157) (1969 2nd pressing of 1967 release)

Very decent UK 2nd press of Pink Floyd's stunning debut LP on Columbia.

This 1969 Stereo pressing of the 1967 release ticks plenty of the boxes you are looking for - front laminated flipback sleeve (Ernest J Day) - only minor creasing - the grey background to Syd's back cover illustration, very little edge/spine wear, just a little corner wear and minor grubbiness on back cover; one EMI box on the labels (black and silver); and decent condition vinyl with good strong audio.

There are some surface lines on Side 2 (pictured) and these bring occasional tics only really noticeable between a couple of tracks. These are non-feelable marks rather than scratches you can detect with a fingertip. Otherwise there is minor surface noise in some of the quieter passages, but no worse than you'd expect from a record almost 50 years old that has been played a few times over the years.

Comes with plain EMI white inner sleeve.

Very collectable and a cracking find for Pink Floyd and rock/prog/psych collectors. Starting at just 99p ...
