Description
Up for auction is a stunning, collector-grade copy of Pink Floyd’s legendary debut album, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn. This is the original 1967 US Tower Records stereo pressing, featuring the rare and highly desirable "Chappter 24" misprint on the Side 2 label.
Vinyl Condition: Flawless. The record has been played but is in immaculate condition with no visible marks, scuffs, or scratches. It retains its original high-gloss factory shine and plays beautifully.
Cover Condition: Exceptional. The cover is still housed in its original shrink wrap (opened at the mouth). Because it has been protected by the shrink wrap for decades, the jacket is in flawless condition with sharp corners and no ring wear.
Label: Features the brown Tower labels with the "Chappter 24" spelling error, a hallmark of the earliest US Rainbo Records pressings.
