Here I have a first pressing of Pink Floyd's psychedelic first album The Piper At The Gates of Dawn, they're only album written primarily by Syd Barrett. The mono edition is a completely different sound experience to the stereo which is why it's so prized by collectors, it's a far superior album and an absolute must own for Pink Floyd/Syd Barrett collectors. Very few were sold, and even fewer survived the psychedelic era unscathed, which is why it's so valuable today.
This is a really nice copy. The outer sleeve has very few marks, and absolutely no staining, age spots not writing. It's evident that this has been a really well looked after album throughout it's lifetime. The front of the sleeve is fully laminated with flipbacks, and a matte back cover. There are NO splits or wear around the edges, it is structurally sound.
The record itself I grade as VG. Side 2 is VG+ with very clear, bright surface. Side 1 has a few surface scratches which I'd done my best to photograph under strong lighting which makes it look worse than it actually is. The record plays through beautifully with little surface noise.
