Pink Floyd Piper at the Gates of Dawn NO SLEEVE, FILLER OR ART PROJECT ONLY. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class Large Letter.
THE IMPORTANT STUFF - PLEASE READ The LP is disc only, no sleeve. Only of real use in an art project, as a collection part-filler, or a stop-gap if you have a spare Piper sleeve and no record. It's not in the best of condition, to put it mildly, and it must have been taken to a heck of a lot of parties in its time. It shows.
THE WORST PART: As shown in the photos, on the track "Flaming" there is a very bad scratch/gouge in the vinyl which causes a very loud repeated pop throughout most of the second verse which is highly likely to skip on your turntable, or worse still, cause damage to your stylus - so if you don't want to say "Bye Bye Stylus" I would strongly advise against playing that track!
If you are actually thinking of having this to play, please note... The record looks the worse for wear, is covered in scratches, hairlines and generally just looks like someone has been let loose on it with a Brillo pad, there's a bit of writing or a pen mark of some kind on the side 1 label (more visible under certain lights) BUT amazingly, aside from the aforementioned problem on "Flaming", the rest of the album plays surprisingly okay (I'm listening to it at the moment on my Audio Technica turntable). It has crackles and pops and groove distortion galore, but it doesn't actually interfere too much with the music which can still be enjoyed above all that.
In spite of all that, it is still a mono first pressing (copies of this are sought after in seemingly any condition) so might still be of interest to someone!
If you want a decent copy, please look elsewhere and whatever you do, don't bid on this one, otherwise if you're okay with all of the above, good luck!
