Description
Up for auction is the rare and illusive Pink Floyd Piper at the Gates of Dawn UK 1st Press on Columbia with the GORGEOUS blue and black labels. Note- check my other listings as I am also selling a TOP COPY of Saucerful of Secrets 1st UK press w/blue and black labels- NM/NM.
This highly sought after gem is graded as
VG+/VG+ because of some super-minor scuffs. If this wasn't such a high dollar record, I would normally grade it as EX/EX but I'm playing it safe. There are spindle trails and light scuffs as well as two light creases that are super common with laminated covers; there is also some very light writing on the back above the "File Under Popular" (pictured)-these conditional factors fail to take away from the beauty of this gorgeous record. It is very difficult to find copies in such good shape (believe me, I went through hell trying to find a clean copy whilst putting together my UK Pink Floyd collection). The spine is fully legible and the original black/white EMI insert is included.
