The vinyl is in VG condition, quite a few light marks on both sides and a couple that are feelable although not really deep. There is still a reasonable amount of sheen although some gloss has been lost. However whilst for parts the LP plays closer to a VG+ there are parts of heavier crackle which although they don't overpower the music, they do become a little intrusive. Also (on a second play test) I've found a small skip on Matilda Mother, the LP skips forward and continues to play fine after that. On side 2 there's a mark which causes approx 20 light clicks, (I think on Chapter 24) and again there are 2 or 3 sections of heavier crackle or light distortion which do intrude a bit on the listen without ruining it. As such I'll have to strictly grade the LP G+ even though it's still an enjoyable listen.
The sleeve is hard to grade and really you need to look at the pics and decide if you can live with or improve the issues. Overall the LP is clean from writing and whilst slightly grubby it's pretty repectable, there is light rippling but nothing heavy. The spine is legible but a crease on the 'The' of 'The Pink Floyd' has gathered dirt and now partials covers it. The corners are reasonable sharp but the bottom right does have a 1cm split from the open edge. There is no 'File under Popular' on the back top right corner and the whole sleeve is free from any writing. However on the front top right corner there is a tear approx7cm long in from the corner (see pics) as such I've graded the sleeve as G+ but the tear is quite neat and could be repaired by a skilled hand! When the sleeve lies flat the tear isn't that visible and thankfully no parts of the sleeve have been lost with the tear. I've always avoided a repair but I feel a nice job could be made. Both Colombia blue text labels are VG+ with moderate spindle wear and the raised KT tax code. The orig EMI printed inner is included and is VG with light dis-colouration, creases and the start of a split on the bottom edge.
As always I'm open to any offers, hard to put a value on this super rare LP but with the above issues.
