Description
A very rare, first stereo pressing, of this Pink Floyd masterpiece.
Catalogue Number -SCX 6157. Matrix No's: Side 1. YAX 3419-1. Side 2. YAX 3420-1.
Record Condition: Very Good.
The record is very clean and the sound quality still superb. Minor paper scuffs and what could be a faint stylus line on Side 1, Track 1, but no noticeable sound deterioration. Side 2, Track 1,has 2 minor scratches,but barely noticeable due to track being the magnificent "Interstellar Overdrive". The inner sleeve appears to be the original EMI album advertising one. NB. I'm very strict in my grading.This is still a magnificent sounding copy.
Cover Condition; Good + .
The cover is better than "good", as it still retains its original colour and the laminate is still intact.There is some creasing on the top, bottom and opening sides.The spine is ok;no splits.The top and bottom of the opening side do have considerable wear and are a little frayed.On the back,in the top left hand corner is the original selling record shop's adhesive label (Lind-Air Optronics (18) Ltd,18 Tottenham Court Road London 1).On the top right hand corner,part of the Ernest J Day & Co. Ltd, London, flipback sleeve has been torn away.
