What to buy for the Pink Floyd lover for Christmas??
I am listing some rare Floyd titles this week, most on a 5 day auction, ending on Sunday evening. I am starting each listing at just £30, and let the open market place decide it's value to them. Part of unsold stock from a record store which has closed down in Newcastle.
So, for sale here we have an unusual and very rare double album released on red and yellow vinyl. This amazing artwork and vinyl is a live recording of Floyds 1971 concert, at the Roman amphitheatre in Pompeii in October of 1971. The artwork on this album is simply sensational.
This is part of a very limited edition release of just 300 copies. The high quality gloss cover is in perfect condition, as is everything else. Included are the superb "pop-up" images of the concert stage in the centre-fold, one disc in yellow vinyl, the other red.
This is a deluxe album pressing on 180gram vinyl. The packaging and artwork is pretty sensational.
This has never been played, and only taken out of its outer cover for the photos shown above. The vinyl, covers and inners are all mint, un-played.
This piece is a real work of art and highly collectable.
