Record Grade: All four records grade at least VG. Records Three & Four have some light sleeve marks and are very glossy while Records One & Two have more sleeve marks and some light spotting but are still glossy.

Cover Grade: Box is VG- plenty of shelf & edge wear (see photos), 1" split on both sides of bottom at opening. Individual LP sleeves all have at least a small spot of tearing where it looks like the sleeves were stuck together with Record Three having a small hole in the bottom left corner from the tear. Three of the four Individual sleeves have a 1/2" to 1" tear at the center of the spine from the heavy LPs sliding back and forth.

Notes: Hardcover book is in very nice shape. The gloss of the cover is slightly dulled but it has almost no wear. The pages look great. No dogeared pages or tears.
This box set is far from perfect but it still has some life in it.

Record Grading

Each entry indicates Artist, Title, Label, Label #, Condition, comments and price (only when specified). All prices are in US dollars.  Unless noted, every record is an original issue for the label and catalog number given. Heres a brief explanation of my grading system, followed by an overview of abbreviations you will encounter...

• SS  Still Sealed - in factory-fresh condition
• M  Mint - I don't use this grade.
• M- Mint Minus - a near perfect, probably unplayed record
• EX  Excellent - very minimal use, if at all. no visible signs of wear.
• VG+  Very Good Plus close to like new with only superficial signs of use that dont affect play. Only well cared for records will grade out to VG+. Will satisfy all but the most demanding collector.

• VG Very Good - a used, reasonable copy. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
• VG- Very Good Minus - significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise.
• G+ Good Plus. In the record world, 'Good' is not good! From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about beat-up records.
