An original, unplayed LP edition of Pink Floyd’s mammoth document of the 1994 ‘Division Bell’ tour from my personal collection.
THE RECORDS: I purchased this LP box set in 1995 purely for the 12” x 12” hardcover book. As I had no longer owned a working turntable, the VINYL LPs IN THIS SET HAVE NEVER BEEN PLAYED and on recent examination are in mint condition! The individual cardboard sleeves for each of the four records show minimal, if any, handling wear and would easily rank as VG+.
THE BOOK: The hardcover book has been looked at several times, and shows a little bit of handling wear on the cover, and some more noticeable wear to the binding. I would rate the book as Good+, with the binding being the sole factor keeping me from saying “Very Good.” No pages are loose or falling out of the book, and the binding is overall tight, but there are a couple of points (a few pages in from the beginning and ending) while paging through that you can detect that a little bit of separation is noticeable (pages laying flat' exposing a bit of the binding).
THE BOX: The outer cardboard box/slipcase containing the book and LPs, unfortunately, is in what I’d rate as Good to Good+ condition, largely due to some handling, shelf wear and moving over the last 24 years, which has resulted in some bumps and dings visible around the corners of the piece, and a slightly “bowed” appearance to one side of the box when examined side-on (see attached images).
