Hi, thanks for checking out my listing of this rare & great Pink Floyd record - a must have for any Pink Floyd fan. Please check out my other auctions for other interesting items.
Astral Projection, released by Aftermath Records, is a strange one - it's a repress of the Nocturnal Submission LP, which is an unauthorized release. I remember this record from a long time ago, but had to research it - this is what I found:
Side 1: ECHOES - 25:03 - (BBC - Paris Cinema, London - 9/30/71) POINT ME AT THE SKY - 3:32 - (official studio version)
Side 2: ONE OF THESE DAYS - 6:44 - (BBC - Paris Cinema, London - 9/30/71) ATOM HEART MOTHER - 16:52 - (KQED TV Broadcast - Fillmore West, San Francisco - 4/29/70) ASTRONOMY DOMINE - 4:02 - (official studio version)
Excellent mono & stereo bootleg with paper insert cover & plain white labels on the vinyl that simply say Side One & Side Two. Made by "Ken" at the end of his TAKRL partnership. This is a repress of Nocturnal Submission using the original TAKRL plates.
The Amazing Kornyfone Record Label
TAKRL was one of the first bootlegging record labels in America. Kornyfone was based in Southern California in the 1970s. The label released albums from such artists as The Beatles, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, The Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, Elton John, Joni Mitchell, Pink Floyd, Genesis, and others. Kornyfone was noted for their packaging, with interesting artwork and informative covers.
