Pink Floyd Saucerful of Secrets 1st Press Uk Mono EMI/Columbia SX 6258 Near Mint original issue with the number one ends to the matrices in the run out grooves, with turquoise & black silver lettered labels. 1st year dated to the flips Garrod & Lofthouse flipback sleeve, and an EMI advertising inner, which very fittingly includes a picture of the Piper at the gates of Dawn sleeve. Even with a stereo cartridge this sounds amazing, with lovely warm valve mono immediacy, and I am sure would sound even better with a modern moving coil mono cart. This clean first issue appears not to have had much turntable time at all. You know this will only rise in value, such pristine examples hardly reach the market. Only bid if you can afford to buy.
This is a clean Near Mint with no marks of any nature to the playing surfaces, has clean labels and the sleeve is excellent to near mint with no splits, has no pen or pencil marks or writing, no stains or dirt, no bends. Played near mint with no audible problems on my moving coil cart.
We pack in custom made corrugated card boxes. This will eb sent signed for 1st or priority insured air.
