Double open mouth / Midnight Blue Gatefold Sleeve. (writing on front of sleeve:)
The Vinyl Record
Catalog / Father / Mother / Stamper
SHVL 804 / A2 / 2 / MR (42nd Stamper)
SHVL 804 / B2 / 1 / ML (48th Stamper)
Numerous light markings to the surfaces, but nothing deep or feel-able.
No loud clicks or anything that disturbs the needle even slightly.
The marks are numerous, but light.
Plays with light surface noise in the deadwax and some of the quietest areas, but the musical areas play very nicely, with large areas of excellent audio.
No skips or jumps, or anything remotely close to causing one... no factory pressing faults in "Money". (A known fault on some A2 B2 pressings - but not on this one)
There is a slight warp that climbs and falls 2mm over a bit less than1/3 of the disc.
The difference is hard to see when the disc is not spinning, but you can see it when the disc spins, and you can see the tone arm slightly rise and fall over that third of the disc.
It has no effect on play, and I have played it on a Bang and Olufsen Linear Track Beogram 4002, tracking at 0.8 of a gram with no problems.
The Audio is VG on both sides, but with the warp I will grade it overall at G+
The labels have no writing, and are VG / VG+
The Sleeve
Double open mouth, Midnight Blue, Gate-fold sleeve.
The double opening sleeves are one of three different variations, and are the rarest, and reputably the earliest.
The posters and stickers were originally stored in the second opening.
Good surfaces, front, inside and back, but the spine and edges have scuffing and ink loss.
Writing on sleeve - Four "signatures"
I am not claiming these signatures to be genuine.
They do look pretty good, and if they are fake, then these are some of the best of the many Pink Floyd fakes on Ebay.... the only difference is that I am letting you know it.
I got a "Quick Opinion" from leading Rock authenticator, Roger Epperson, and his reply was.

I respect his opinion highly, so as far as I am concerned they are what they are - good fakes.
You can take it as a good bad or neutral aspect to the item, but I think it is still a great looking item to display.
Without the writing on the sleeve, I would grade it at Good.
I will leave it up to you whether good fake autographs add take or remain neutral on that grading.
