Dark Side of the Moon, originally released in 1973, is one of those albums that is discovered anew by each generation of rock listeners. This complex, often psychedelic music works very well because Pink Floyd doesn't rush anything; the songs are mainly slow to mid-tempo, with attention paid throughout to musical texture and mood. The sound effects on songs like "On the Run," "Time" and especially "Money" (with sampled sounds of clinking coins and cash registers turned into rhythmic accompaniment) are impressive, especially when we remember that 1973 was before the advent of digital recording techniques. This is probably Pink Floyd's best-known work, and it's an excellent place to start if you're new to the band. --Genevieve Williams --This text refers to the Audio CD edition.

- Pick-up appointment times are: Tuesday Noon - 4pm, Thursday Noon - 7pm, Friday Noon - 4pm, Sunday 11am - 1pm. We are closed Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
- We are located in North York at 4548 Dufferin St. Suite 115. South of Finch on the west side of Dufferin St.
- Taxes are charged accordance to Province Ministry Guidelines. ONT, NB & NF pay 13% HST. NS pays 15% HST. PEI pays 14% HST. All other provinces pay 5% GST. Taxes will be added to item cost and shipping/pick up fees in accordance with Ministry guidelines.
- Shipping to YT, NT, NU, NL, A0K, A0P, A0Q, A0R, and X0A-Y9Z may incur additional shipping charges, Please contact us prior to ordering.
We will gladly refund your purchase price, excluding shipping and handling charges if your order is returned to us. Contact us for help or assistance in processing a return. Non-authorized returns will be refused. Merchandise will only be accepted for return within 30 days of receipt. The merchandise must be in same condition as sold and in its original packaging.
Defective Returns
If the item you wish to return is inoperable, but has no apparent damage, it is considered defective and you will still need to contact us for a replacement or refund.
Damaged Returns
Damaged merchandise includes items that have been damaged in shipping. If a shipment arrives at your door with apparent shipping damage, please refuse the delivery. If you have already accepted delivery and then find shipping damage, please contact us immediately. Save all packaging material and paperwork; do not throw anything away!
We may decide to issue replacements if requested, per our discretion. If replacement is requested and denied, you will need to return for a credit and then place a new order. Please do not place a new order for replacement until confirmed.
Please note that if the package is refused, undeliverable, or returned to sender for any reason, the credit will be minus original shipping, return fees, and restocking.
A 20% restocking fee will be charged for all non-defective returns.
Note: Credit/Replacement will not be issued without the return tracking to show return was delivered back. Returns take some time to process and confirm the reason chosen is correct, therefore, credits can take up to 15 business days from the date the item is delivered back.
