ORIGINAL VERY EARLY 1ST ISSUE FACTORY SEALED COPY
PINK FLOYD ~ THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON
VERY EARLY RELEASE WITH A ROUND BLACK "PINK FLOYD DARK SIDE OF THE MOON SMAS 11163" HYPE STICKER WITHOUT THE "PRINTED IN U.S.A." TEXT AS SEEN ON THE SUBSEQUENT LATER PRESSINGS

Extremely rare factory sealed copy of the 1st Harvest Records US issue of Pink Floyd's eight studio album released on March 10, 1973. Original cardboard black gatefold cover with a prism contains the early release only "Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon SMAS 11163" round black hype sticker affixed to the shrink wrap in the upper right-hand corner on the front. The spine contains the text in the form of the band name "Pink Floyd" and the album title, which unlike the sticker has the "The" article "The Dark Side of the Moon" and catalog number SMAS 11163. This copy, just like all of the 1st pressing copies, includes a set of promotional materials inside.
1) Pyramid Poster: A green pyramid poster with "Printed in U.S.A." at bottom left, and "SMAS-11163-1" at bottom right. At the bottom center, it says " PINK FLOYD DARK SIDE OF THE MOON."
2) Group Poster: A six-pane group shot poster in portrait style with "Printed in U.S.A." at bottom left and "SMAS-11163-2" at bottom right.
3) Besides the two color posters, the album also features a set of two promotional Dark Side of the Moon postcard stickers that come in different variations.
The album is in amazing Mint condition. The fully intact shrink wrap has the original breathe holes and doesn't have splits, tears or missing pieces, with only just some light shelf wear. This copy is coming from a private collection of Pink Floyd, which we've acquired recently. The collection includes not only the original Pink Floyd albums, but also promotional materials.
