Pink Floyd "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" 

This is an original US vinyl pressing on Tower T-5093  from 1967.     This is a Mono pressing of their first album.     It was pressed in very small numbers, because they phasing out mono albums in 1967.    The drill hole proves that it did not sell at first, and was returned, and then resold as a cut out.    The cover and label do not say Mono, but the "T" prefix on the record number means it's Mono.     Most Pink Floyd collectors have never seen this album in Mono.   It's only the second one I have ever seen !!     This is a must have classic early major label psych album.    

The matrix numbers are : side one : T1-5093-G2 and side two : T2-5093-G3.

Overall Condition is : Cover is VG+ /  Record is VG+

The cover is VG+.   There is a very tiny drill hole at top left.   There is partial ring wear on the front cover at top center and on upper right only.   There was a 6 inch seam split on the bottom seam, but it has been repaired.    There is no writing on the cover.      The vinyl on side one looks VG and it plays VG+.    There are light handling marks and one scuff over songs 3 & 4.    It plays through that fine.     The vinyl on side two looks VG+ and it plays VG+.     The labels are clean with light spindle marks and some wear around the spindle hole.   .  The record comes in a plain white inner sleeve. 

The songs are : See Emily Play, Pow R Toch, Take Up My Stethoscope And Walk, Lucifer Sam, Matilda Mother, The Scarecrow, The Gnome, Chapter 24, and Interstellar Overdrive.

I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.    One sheet is 3/4 inch thick triple strength industrial cardboard.   The other sheet is 1/4 inch double strength cardboard.   Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )  It will weigh 22 ounces ( 1 pound, 6 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal with a tracking number.      Overseas buyers must use First Class Mail International.   I will let you know the date I mailed your record and the US customs number.   ( Buyers from Italy must assume all risks for shipping to their country. )     I will remove the record from the cover and place them in a plastic bag.   I will send it as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM.)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.   There are no handling charges.    This record is from a no smoking and no pets home.
