The Piper at The Gates of Dawn

in mono 1967. Floyds Debut album hot on the heels of See Emily Play and Arnold Layne, this was Floyd at their most innovative, Syd Barret wrote every track on this album, only assisted on two of the tracks.

The definitive Floyd. I have had this record since 1968, when it was traded from a friend who had decided to upgrade to the stereo version. (it has his initial JR, written on the disk)

I believe that this is the first mono pressing (perhaps you experts out there can verify this?)

The (original) cover has a part number SCX6157, although the record is SX 6157

The record is marked, but is very playable and does not jump or skip.
