The legendary eleventh Pink Floyd album is finally back on vinyl

This is what the vinyl lovers among the Pink Floyd fans have been waiting for. The rock legends are gradually releasing all of their albums as LPs. The band released their first four records in June 2016, with more albums to follow in August, including »The Wall«.

»The Wall« is Pink Floyd 's eleventh long player and also the band's first concept album. It originally appeared in 1979. It tells the story of the musician Pink, who, like bassist and singer Roger Waters, lost his father in the war and, for this reason and for various other reasons, builds an imaginary wall around himself.

Most of the songs on The Wall were Waters' pen or a collaboration between Waters and David Gilmour. The album also marks a major turning point in Pink Floyd 's career. It is the last album with the classic line-up since 1968. Keyboarder Richard Wright had to leave the band at the end of the recording.

"The Wall" is still the best-selling double album of all time.

All songs on the reissue were remastered by James Guthrie, Joel Plante and Bernie Grundman.

At the same time as The Wall, Pink Floyd also re-released The Division Bell. All reissues in the series are released on 180g vinyl. The cover artwork is always the original design.

Finally: With »The Wall«, Pink Floyd 's legendary concept album is available on LP for the first time in years.
