CRAZY RARE GOLD STAMP PROMO!
THIS IS A SUPER RARE GOLD STAMPED PROMO COPY and it INCLUDES THE SUPER RARE ORIGINAL 4" X 7" HYPE INSERT THAT IS ALMOST ALWAYS MISSING FROM THIS SET.
This is a pretty nice complete FIRST PRESSING Gold Stamp Promo copy with the Original Hype Insert and the Original Inner Lyric Sleeves.
Up for sale is one (1) Pink Floyd - The Wall GOLD STAMP PROMO double LP from 1979 on Columbia Records (#PC2 36183). NO BARCODE.
The rear cover has a gold promo stamp "FOR PROMOTION ONLY". Rarely seen GOLD STAMPED PROMO LP.
PLAY TESTED! I RECENTLY PLAYED THIS LP AND IT SOUNDS AWESOME! But you will hear surface noise typical with a Very Good grading.
The Hype Insert is in Good+ condition with wear typical with age but has very noticeable creases & crumples.
The Vinyl is in Very Good condition with some visual surface marks that may cause surface noise typical with a Very Good grading. Even with a Very Good grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticible during the quiet parts.
As is typical with Pink Floyd LP's there is going to be surface noise along the way, especially during the quiet parts.
Nice clean labels with minor spindle marks.The gatefold cover is in Good+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to minor corner dings, scrapes, and ring wear, etc... There are no split seams, cut-outs, or writing on it. There is a small circular stain on the front cover and some staining & peeling in the lower left corner of the rear cover. The are also some scrapes in the middle of the rear cover.
On the inside of the Gatefold there is what may be a small circular cigarette / ash burn and some other staining of an unknown origin. As well as some scrapes and wear typical with age.
This cover typically doesn't age well, but this one is in pretty good shape. If not for the staining, scrapes & ash burn this would definately be graded higher as it is structurally sound.
The Rear cover has a gold stamp that reads "FOR PROMOTION ONLY Ownership Reserved by CBS Sale is Unlawful" in the upper left rear corner.
The custom inner lyric sleeves are also in Very Good condition, with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to minor corner dings, scrapes, and ring wear, etc... There are some split seams as follows:
Record 1 sleeve has a medium sized split seam on one side and a very small sized split seam on the other side.
Record 2 sleeve has a medium sized split seam on two sides.

I obtained this LP in the early 1980's. It was gently played back in the day. It has not been played in over 30 years.
