Description
You are bidding on a record from my short-lived endeavor into vinyl and record collecting.
In 2011, I decided to broaden my audiophile horizons and get into Vinyl. I bought a high-end TT, cartridge and record cleaner and started collecting. However, after about 6 short months, I determined that the hobby was not for me (flipping LPs, cleaning, storing, etc). I sold off all my equipment and started to sell of my records slowly. I am now starting the process of selling off the remainder of my collection.
I was very methodical with my approach to record collecting. I'm writing all of this because I know how important it is to many to understand the way the records were handled before purchasing on the used market. Whenever I bought a record, I would immediately take it out of it's original cover and sleeve, clean it on a VPI 16.5 Record Cleaner with Audio Intelligent No. 5 record cleaner, place the LP into a Mobile Fidelity Rice Sleeve, insert that back into it's cover and then insert the entire thing into a clear plastic outer sleeve and store it. The only exceptions were if the record came with a good quality outer-sleeve, I would leave it in it's original. Likewise, if the record came with a quality Rice-Paper inner sleeve, I would generally not replace it with a MoFi inner sleeve...but these exceptions were few and far between.
Because I bought about 150 LPs over such a short timeframe, many never got listened to and those that did, often only got one listen. While listening, the record was brushed before each side-play and side-flip and then again before it was removed and placed back into it's sleeve. Records were then returned to a locked, climate controlled room where they were stored. If a record made it to 3 listens, it took a trip back to the VPI 16.5 for another cleaning before being stored again. Suffice it to say, these records were probably as delicately cared for as you could probably ask.
The hardware was a VPI Classic turntable with a Dynavector DV-20 cartridge with HRX Outer Ring Clamp and HRX Center Weight. The TT was always stored with it's dust cover on so the platter stayed nice and clean. The Turntable, Tonearm and Cartridge were all professionally tuned/calibrated in my home. So while in my possession, these records only ever saw good quality, professionally calibrated hardware so any kind of wear should be minimal.
**NOTE: All Record Sales INCLUDE the MoFi Rice Paper Inner Sleeve(s), as well as the clear plastic outer sleeve. The original inner sleeves are not included, however any artwork or inserts IS still included.

ABOUT THIS RECORD:
I purchased this record used. At the time of purchase, it was listed as VG+ condition and I concur with this rating. In fact, based on SQ alone, it might be considering NM but I'm playing it safe and sticking with the VG+ rating. The sound quality of this recording and this record are nothing short of amazing. This was the record I used with friends and family to demonstrate the qualities of Analog vs Digital in my reference system because IMHO, it trounced the quality of the digital versions. I believe this is an early pressing, but I'm not sure. I have attached a picture of the UPC code.
