I have for auction a very early pressing of the classic Pink Floyd album The Wall. I asked around on the Steve Hoffman forum about the matrix info on this record. You can read about it at the following link:

My copy has the following in the deadwax:
Side 1: 1A TML-X
Side 2: 1AB TML-M
Side 3: 1AB TML-S
Side 4: 1AA TML-X
The overall condition is excellent. I purchased this record from a collection a few years ago. Everything was in NM condition or close to it and this Wall is no exception. The biggest problem is there are two splits in each side of the inner sleeves. So, the left and right sides of the lyric inner sleeves have splits from 1-3" in length. The record sounds wonderful. I have play graded all sides and they are wonderful. NM audio. I am going to grade the whole package as VG+ because of the splits in the inners and the very slight ringwear seen on the cover.The vinyl would grade VG+ visually as well as there are some scuffs. I really think the vinyl is as it was from the factory as there is absolutely no spindle wear on the labels, but I just don't want any surprises. The spine is perfect as you can see. The gatefold sleeve is NM as well. Let me know if you need any other pictures.
Again, this is a very nice original copy of The Wall by Pink Floyd on Columbia records. One of the earliest pressings you will find in great condition. It even has the original sticker that came with the album. It has been placed on a thin plastic sleeve that I'm sure has been on the record since it was new.
I asked at the forum for some guidance on price, and wasn't given a whole lot of information. Popsike has some pretty spendy completed listings for early 1st pressings like this, but this may be one of the earliest. Anyway, it was difficult to determine price for this, but I have chosen to start the bidding at $100 and let the high bidder take it. I hope it goes for more, but I'll just keep it rather than dump it for too little.
