Among the available Columbia Records promotional copies of "The Wall" this copy is the rarest of them all. The majority of promotional copies have the regular labels that aren't any different from the standard commercial release. This copy contains the labels with the "DEMONSTRATION NOT FOR SALE" text, present on all of the four sides. These labels come across extremely rarely and represent a highly-collectible item. Gatefold cover remains in the original shrink wrap with breathe holes and has two large stickers underneath it. A white "Columbia Records Demonstration Not For Sale" timing strip sticker with the song titles and a large "Pink Floyd The Wall 36183" clear hype sticker above it. The upper left-hand corner of the back cover has a gold "FOR PROMOTION ONLY Ownership Reserved By CBS Sale Is Unlawful" stamp.

The album comes with two original custom Columbia Records "The Wall" inner sleeves. 1st matrix numbers are as follows (Side 1 / Side 2 / Side 3 / Side 4): 1C / 1AB / 1AA / 1AB. The cover is graded as Near Mint Minus. The custom inner sleeves are in Near Mint Minus condition only having some light splits. The vinyl is graded as strong Very Good Plus due to it having some very light marks and scuffs from the inner sleeve, none of which are feelable and affect the playback. The very clean labels are in Near Mint Minus condition and are mark and scuff-free.
