DESCRIPTION: Pink Floyd double LP- The Wall. Very early UK pressing with card inners (round edged), gatefold sleeve and A2U/B3U/A2U/B3U matrix. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Harvest SHDW 411 SHSP 4112/4111. YEAR OF RELEASE: 1979 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG+/VG+. Vinyls are very clean with nice sheens, a few light hairlines prevent me from visually grading EX. Played passages on my Pro-ject Deck today. Sounds VG to VG+. Music itslef is pretty clean, clear and loud with only an occasional soft tick and background sound in the quieteest spoken passages and intros preventing an EX grade. Cover is firm and square and has only light edgewear (a couple of patches of moderate to bottom edge prevent an EX grade), cornerwear and creasing. Spine has great shape. Inners are in decent shape, nice and white and clean, only one with an edge split. Very clean labels- No writing, rips, stickers os sticker tears. Nice copy of a great LP!! Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
