Description
This is an early German pressing of the classic Pink Floyd double album 'The Wall' (dating from 1979). It's similar to the early UK pressing as:
- The band members are not listed inside the gatefold sleeve (please see the fifth photograph, in particular)
- There is no barcode on the back cover
- The gatefold sleeve is cream coloured, not true white, and the bricks are not aligned right to the bottom
It differs from the UK pressing in that the name of the group, the album title and the catalogue number all appear on the spine of the gatefold sleeve (please see the first and second photographs).
The gatefold sleeve and the two lyric inners are all in Excellent condition. The discs look as though they have only been played a few times; I'll also grade them as Excellent. Nice item! The matrix identifiers stamped in the run-out grooves are as follows:
Side One: 63 410-A-0
Side Two: 63 410-B-0
Side Three: 63 411-A-01
Side Four: 63-411-B-0
I'm always happy to combine postage if anyone wishes to purchase more than one of my 'Buy It Now' items. Please either send me a message beforehand asking for a quote, or commit to buy the items and I'll send you an invoice that includes a reasonable combined postage amount. Please note that depending on the value of your multiple purchases, I may need to send them 'Signed For' which would include the appropriate premium.
Many thanks for viewing this listing. And please also see the other Pink Floyd LPs that I'm currently selling on eBay.
Please note that payment by Personal Cheque can only be accepted from buyers in the UK. If you are in the UK and you pay by cheque, the item will be sent to you after the cheque has cleared.
