Description
Pink Floyd - The Wall
(Harvest SHDW 411 UK Double LP 1979)
This is an early UK Double LP pressing. It has a heavyweight gatefold sleeve. This has a glue flap at the top & bottom of the inside of the record opening. It comes with its original lyric inner sleeves. These are printed on card & have rounded corners. The records are pressed on thick vinyl & have A-2U/ B-3U/ A-3U/ B-2U matrix stampers. "TML" is machine stamped in the dead wax on all four sides.
Gatefold Sleeve: There is some light or mild ringwear on the front sleeve on some areas. There is a very small stain in one corner. There is some light or very mild fading to the "white" of the sleeve in some areas. VG+ condition
Vinyl 1: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are some light or very mild pressing marks on some areas. VG+ condition. The labels are in excellent+ condition & show minimal spindle wear only. The lyric inner sleeve is in EX+ condition. There is minimal wear only. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG to VG+ overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places. There are a few areas of more moderate crackle too. This never lasts too long. There are a very few mild clicks on one track on Side 1. This LP would definitely benefit from a professional clean. Visually the record looks very nice & clean. Therefore, there is some deep down dirt in the grooves causing the crackle. It would play at least excellent, I believe, after a professional clean.
Vinyl 2: There are some light or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are some light or very mild pressing marks on some areas. There is a very light 2 cm surface mark. VG+ condition. The labels are in excellent+ condition & show minimal spindle wear only. The lyric inner sleeve is in EX+ condition. There is minimal wear only. There are no seam splits.

I shall place the records in a separate plain paper inner sleeve. This will protect the original lyric inner sleeves from any damage during transit.
