Pink Floyd The Wall Vinyl 2LP Gfold 1979 1st pressing Decal/OIS, A2U/B3U/A3U/B3U


1st pressing with picture labels in gatefold sleeve 

Specific to the first issue sleeve:

Band members are not listed on the inside cover. It only says "Words and Music - Roger Waters. Except..." and "Produced By David Gilmour, Bob Ezrin, Roger Waters". Re-pressings added band member credits and had other minor alterations.

No bar code on the back cover.


There are two 1st pressing lyric inner sleeve variants (Both are on thick card with rounded corners and a nine-inch thumb notch at the top):

1. Sides 2 and 4 have the catalog number of the specific record listed on a single line in the lower right corner.2. Sides 2 and 4 have the catalog number (SHDW 411), international catalogue number (OC-158 63410), and the UK catalogue number (SHSP 4111) in the lower right corner.

Condition and details below:

All VG+/to Excellent in the main - Matrix numbers:

Side one - A2U

Side two - B3U

Side three - A3U

Side four - B3U


The gatefold sleeve is intact, no major tears or nasty stains, some slight discolouration- A great spine! - see photos...

Inside the gatefold clean and clear - 1st press credits as referenced above (see photos) and it still has the front decal ‘ Pink Floyd , The Wall’ attached …! A rarer find. ( slightly creased on top right corner)

Both original lyric inner sleeves are present and clean with very little signs of usage. No rips throughout and they are in excellent condition

Both LPs are in great ,perfectly playable condition, nice clean labels and only light wispy marks from past usage - all four sides sound great all round. Watch and listen to the video montage...


It plays really well , some crackle on lead ins , the odd small pop but nothing that causes any detriment all round. - a good listen
