Pink Floyd Ummagumma UK Harvest lp SHDW 1/2
Stunning first pressing of this classic lp.
Matrices SHDW 1 A1 and 1 B2 and SHDW 2 A1 and 2 B2
The records are in near mint condition. They are both flat and very clean and shiny: indeed they look almost like new. There are no observable marks in normal light but in very bright light there are a couple of extremely wispy marks on side 1 that make no difference to the sound which is flawless throughout. There are hardly any spindle marks indicating that the lps have been played, at most, a couple of of times. It will be very difficult to find a better copy than this.
The labels are in excellent condition. They do not have the EMI boxed logo and have " The Gramophone Co....." legend around the edge indicating a very first pressing. They are free from wear, writing, rips, tears or stickers. There are literally one or two spindle marks; other than that the labels are mint.
The cover is in at least excellent condition. There is a little very light bumping (not wear) to the corners, some extremely light wear to one opening and some slight fading near the spine. In all other respects the cover is flawless. I have very seldom seen a better example of this sleeve in forty years of collecting.
This is a copy that I am sure would satisfy even the most exacting of collectors. In my opinion the lp is undoubtedly of investment quality. Happy bidding.
