Up for auction is the Ummagumma album from Pink Floyd. This is considered their fourth album and it is a very interesting one. The first LP contains songs that were part of their live set circa 1969. The live LP contains songs that originally recorded on The Piper at the Gates of Dawn and A Saucerful of Secrets. The second LP is what is regarded as Pink Floyd's fourth studio album. Each of the band members have a written song contribution on the second LP. It is extremely unique and very cool. This particular album is the Original 2nd UK pressing on Harvest EMI records. The vinyl is in great shape and sounds fantastic. I have conservatively graded the vinyl at VG plus, but it definitely plays at an Excellent. Both of the LP's have some light hairline scratches and scuffs. They are very superficial and do not deter from the audio playback. The LP's have one flaw in the vinyl that hold them back from an Excellent rating. On side 3 of the studio LP, there is a skip that loops on the groove that separates the 2nd and 3rd song. It is slight inconvenience, but is quite small in scheme of things. The LP labels are outstanding. The gatefold album is in really good shape. You have got to love those UK laminated album covers. The LP cover has a very slight amount of ring wear and a little corner wear/rounding. The spine has some extremely mild wear and a couple of very small creases towards the top. The gatefold looks great. Some slight ring wear is present and also someone's name is written on lower right hand corner, of the gatefold. The album cover is in great shape for it's age.
